We're Diving In!
This was the song played at church Sunday, "Dive" by my favorite singer, Steven Curtis Chapman - one of many that have described my week.... After all this wait, finally a travel date!!!!!! This song describes my emotions so perfectly - so excited, so scared, so overwhelmed! And so thrilled to be part of God's plan for Myli's life!!! I still can't believe this is really happening! I don't know how much I'll post on my blog for a while, so until next post...
The long awaited rains
Have fallen hard upon the thirsty ground
And carved their way to where
The wild and rushing river can be found
And like the rains
I have been carried here to where the river flows yeah
My heart is racing and my knees are weak
As I walk to the edge
I know there is no turning back
Once my feet have left the ledge
And in the rush I hear a voice
Thats telling me its time to take the leap of faith
So here I go
Im diving in Im going deep in over my head I want to be
Caught in the rush lost in the flow in over my head I want to go
The rivers deep the rivers wide the rivers water is alive
So sink or swim I'm diving in
There is a supernatural power
In this mighty rivers flow
It can bring the dead to life
And it can fill an empty soul
And give a heart the only thing
Worth living and worth dying for yeah
But we will never know the awesome power
Of the grace of god
Until we let ourselves get swept away
Into this holy flood
So if you'll take my hand
Well close our eyes and count to three
And take the leap of faith
Come on lets go!
Have fallen hard upon the thirsty ground
And carved their way to where
The wild and rushing river can be found
And like the rains
I have been carried here to where the river flows yeah
My heart is racing and my knees are weak
As I walk to the edge
I know there is no turning back
Once my feet have left the ledge
And in the rush I hear a voice
Thats telling me its time to take the leap of faith
So here I go
Im diving in Im going deep in over my head I want to be
Caught in the rush lost in the flow in over my head I want to go
The rivers deep the rivers wide the rivers water is alive

Thank God you got some good news and get to travel! I have followed your blog for a long time and I am so happy to hear you will finally get to go. We are still waiting for a referral from Russia. Now, we have to re-do our home study as they came out with a huge list of HS agencies that are "banned" and ours was on it....another bump in the road!
God's plan......it can only be!

WAAAAHOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is wonderful. I think you said it very well when you said that you are grateful to be apart of God's plan for Mylie. I think I was always afraid, I wasn't part of the plan. Can't wait to see a picture of you with your girl in your arms.

I also wanted to let you know that I have nominated you for a blog award (because I am sure you have TONS of time to blog). You inspire me every day with your patience, faith and your trust in the Lord and in His plan and I am so grateful for your friendship!
