60 Things While We're Still Waiting
Well, there hasn't been any more news. I'm going a little crazy, so I'm trying to keep myself busy! I saw this on a blog a while ago and thought it might be neat to do. I had to do it a little at a time, so not all of the questions were answered simultaneously. If you're looking for something to do, please cut and paste away! 60 Things You Possibly Didn't Know About Me
1. What is in the back seat of your car right now?
Well, I'm ashamed to admit that until yesterday, there were Easter baskets, gifts, etc. left in there from our family get-togethers, but I knew I was going to work on this, so I cleaned it out! Now there's just a little grass sprinkled in the back. And my breastfeeding/birth/parenting library I use for a support group I lead. And some weird looking rope/cable that I have NO idea what it's for!
2. When was the last time you threw up
It's been so long ago that I can't remember thankfully!
3. What's your favorite curse word?
I've been saying, "My heavens!" a lot recently. Does that count?
4. Name 3 people who made you smile today?
The easy answer would be Legoboy, Woogie, and Meatball, but it was also someone who e-mailed me some pictures and Myli.
5. What were you doing at 8 am this morning?
Just getting up! I slept in today!
6. What were you doing 30 minutes ago?
Getting ready to go to the grocery store, and I still haven't left! LOL!
7. What will you be doing 3 hours from now?
Finishing up homework time, making dinner, probably still doing housework since I've spent too much time on the computer today, and getting ready to go to church (at least that's my plan, but you never know!)
8. Have you ever been to a strip club?
No
9. What is the last thing you said aloud?
Just a minute. To Meatball who is jumping at me saying "Mom! Mom! Mom!"
10. What is the best ice cream flavor?
Do I have to pick only ONE?! Pumpkin, Mint choc. chip, and anything with chocolate and peanut butter
11. What was the last thing you had to drink?
Water. Rarely drink anything else.
12. What are you wearing right now?
jeans that are too tight (not intentionally!) and a brown sweater, brown slip-on shoes
13. What was the last thing you ate?
This is embarrassing! A tootsie roll - that was lunch!
14. Have you bought any new clothing items this week?
No, and that's typical! I only shop for myself if I absolutely have to! I love shopping for my kids, though!
15. When was the last time you ran?
Last week with Woogie in the library parking lot. I'm finally getting old enough that I don't care what other people think!
16. What's the last sporting event you watched?
Wow! I'm not big into sports. Other than Woogie's gymnastics class Monday night, I'd have to say MAYBE I watched a minute or 2 of the Superbowl this year?

my husband
19. Ever go camping?
not since I was a kid, but the plan is to go this summer!
20. Do you have a tan?
Nope, I'm ghostly white. There's no sun around here in the winter.
24. Do you drink your soda from a straw?
Well, we call it pop around here, and I'd have to say usually, because when I do drink it, it's usually in a restaurant and they almost always give you a straw. If they don't , then I don't use one!

I think this means instant message? I don't have anything like that. VERY low -tech :-)
26. Are you someone's best friend?
I think so... I hope so...
27. What are you doing tomorrow?
Laundry, dishes, vacuuming, making beds, cleaning the bathrooms (don't you want my life?!), walking on the treadmill, cooking meals, taking care of the kids, getting Legoboy ready to go to W.V. with Boys Club for a weekend missions trip. I think that about covers it. Oh, yeah - stressing about our adoption!
28. Where is your mom right now?
Well, the first time I worked on this, she would have been at work. She works as a medical biller/coder for a pediatrics office. But right now, she's probably at home - about 15-20 min. away from me.

a wall, kitchen table and chairs (with cups that still need put in the dishwasher), side of the fridge and cupboard
30. What color is your watch?
I don't wear one.
31. What do you think of when you think of Australia ?
When I was dating Scott, he considered moving there. Of course I didn't want him to. How different would our lives ended up if he had?! That and Crocodile Dundee.
32. Would you consider plastic surgery?
Doubtful, although I probably could use it!

34. Do you go in at a fast food place or just hit thedrive thru?
Drive thru if I can help it. Which means if there's not a play place!

As many as God wants to give me. But then again the question says how many do I want - not how many do I think I could handle!

When I was first working on this, it would have been my sister. But now it's my mom.

Steven Curtis Chapman! Oh, and Big Chuck and Little John. And Dick Goddard. I think that's it. Does anyone know who they are?

Right now - read my Bible, brush my teeth, and go to bed. Aren't I exciting?!

yep. I got my BSN (nursing).

In my kitchen at the desk.
43. Biggest annoyance in your life right now?
The dog who eats EVERYTHING including the deck. The piles of oompah she leaves all over the yard. And the holes she digs. Meatball's destructive phase. He was using the hand vac and decided to suck up water with it today.

"What a Wonderful World" came up on somebody's blog today. Other than that, it would usually be Cedarmont Kids Gospel tunes!

don't think so, although I don't get along too well with milk

Being really stupid while I was cutting wax to make candles for Christmas one year. Only time I've ever had stitches (well except for my first birth...). I didn't tell anyone what made the candles red - just kidding!!!!!!!!
